Wood and Wheels Ministry
- Wood and Wheels racing is an event which provides great entertainment and fun for all ages. Usually this event is held in August.
- A kit is purchased. This consists of a block of wood, four plastic wheels, four metal axles, all of which must be used. It also contains construction advice, measurement and weight rules and registration form which should be filled in prior to the night and presented with the car. Enjoy the thrill of designing, creating and racing your own cars.
- Help is available to carve the desired shape from the block of wood. The car can then be sanded and painted. Decals etc can be added.
- The finished car should be given a racing name which can be printed on the car if desired and should be printed on the underside.
Supporting Missionary Work
Adrian and Caren Behrens
Adrian and Caren serve with Mobile Mission Maintenance Australia.
MMM is a mission organization that operates throughout Australia and Oversees. They support Christian ministries by doing the practical things like: building, repairing, painting and general maintenance so that those ministries can do what they are called to do more effectively.
Tim and Melanie Downes
Tim and Melanie serve with Global Interaction in Mangochi, Malawi among the Yawo people.
This least-reached people group have not yet heard the Good News of Jesus Christ in a way that makes sense to them. Tim and Melanie have been working with Global Interaction for many years and continue to share the message of salvation with the Yawo people around them.
